User reviews about this book

  • Good, not great

I enjoyed the book in most respects. The characters were well developed & the plot fairly believable. At least it was until the “heart throb” was brought in. Then it went to eye rolling silly. A man (an actor) taking her hand on the beach & speaking some lines that she recognized as lines from his TV show, does not mean that a woman is going to instantly fall in love. The rest of the book was still enjoyable, but the main character, Ann, & Vaughn remained in the ridiculous realm.

I loved the characters, Annie & Rhonda draw you right into their lives! Add an ex-husband & movie star boyfriend for a page turner. Any book set at the beach is a winner to me. I can’t wait to start the next book in the series.
