Love is Bittersweet Athena Meter & Julie Mazurek Book Review Score: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars

This is a story of romance and relationships that is sweet and fulfilling. If you are looking for graphic erotica, you will not find it here. If you enjoy happily ever afters and tales that make you laugh or cry, or laugh while you're crying, this is the book for you.

Nineteen year old, twin sisters, Iolite and Seraphinite Fae, have traveled the world but they're just beginning life's journey. Which way should they go and how long should they both stay on the same path?

Iolite struggles with her insecurities, always in the shadow of her free-spirited sister Seraphinite. But love comes calling and opens her eyes. What was bleak in her life is now bright, and her sister's apparently charmed life may be something else.

Seraphinite has always lived with passion, rushing headlong into everything she does, except for love. Until now it has been easy to dismiss as something she will get to someday. What is holding her back? Will she let herself take a chance or is she immune to the call of love, forever running wild and free?

Life is a gift. People will surprise you. Love is bittersweet.

I enjoyed reading this book. The first book I have finished since high school. And that was a long, long, time ago.

The characters are lovable and compelling. Their relationships are deep and interesting. If you're looking for a truly romantic novel based on real feelings, not trashy flings, then you'll love this book!
