Cookies sure tasted good. But it just didn't cross his mind early enough, that it would have worked out better for him if he had asked first.
A lesson on asking before taking.

It’s a good book I think it will help children learn you should always ask if you can have something before taking it so if you have a kid that’s 3-6 years old you should get this book 📖
It's OKAY

Chocolate Can Kill Dogs!

Please consider changing the type of cookie in this story. Chocolate can kill dogs! Or take out the dog participating in the mischievous act altogether! If a child got the (not so great) idea to give their dog a chocolate chip cookie, there could be a lot bigger problem than not having enough cookies for a sale or other people. It could be horrible. I understand the message the author is trying to relay regarding "asking an adult's permission first." However, it's s bad story! Fact check please. Chocolate can kill dogs!
