Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day Judith Viorst Book Review Score: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars
He could tell it was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. He went to sleep with gum in his mouth and woke up with gum in his hair. When he got out of bed, he tripped over his skateboard and by mistake dropped his sweater in the sink while the water was running. He could tell it was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
It was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Nothing at all was right. Everything went wrong, right down to lima beans for supper and kissing on TV.
What do you do on a day like that? Well, you may think about going to Australia. You may also be glad to find that some days are like that for other people too.

Good book I like good book
Too expensive for this book
I can't believe this book was $7.99. It is very overpriced. It states there was 37 pages and some of the pages were advertisements.

Loved this book as a child
One of my favorite books as a child and still is to this day.
Favorite childhood book!

This was my favorite book when I was 5 (in 1972 when the book was first published) and now, 40 years later, I'm reading it to my 5-year-old daughter on our new iPad! Times and technology have changed, but people still have terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days, and this book still makes me and my daughter feel better. The color illustrations of Alexander on the iPad are a great touch!

This was my absolute FAVORITE book as a child, and know it is on the crystal clear retina display of the new iPad!
