A Wrinkle in Time Madeleine L'Engle Book Review Score: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars

It was a dark and stormy night; Meg Murry, her small brother Charles Wallace, and her mother had come down to the kitchen for a midnight snack when they were upset by the arrival of a most disturbing stranger.

"Wild nights are my glory," the unearthly stranger told them. "I just got caught in a downdraft and blown off course. Let me sit down for a moment, and then I'll be on my way. Speaking of ways, by the way, there is such a thing as a tesseract."

A tesseract (in case the reader doesn't know) is a wrinkle in time. To tell more would rob the reader of the enjoyment of Miss L'Engle's unusual book. A Wrinkle in Time, winner of the Newbery Medal in 1963, is the story of the adventures in space and time of Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin O'Keefe (athlete, student, and one of the most popular boys in high school). They are in search of Meg's father, a scientist who disappeared while engaged in secret work for the government on the tesseract problem. A Wrinkle in Time is the winner of the 1963 Newbery Medal.

It is 10:53, I have just finished reading A Wrinkle in Time, and I am absolutely a palled by these reviews, and I am; therefore, making this review as an attack on you dunces that plague the reviews for this book. TW: if you do not have the roasting abilities of a master, I strongly advise that you do not try to roast me back, because you will fail. You have now reached the point of no return. *ROASTING SECTION OF REVIEW* If you think it is a good idea to rate the book 1 star because you: 1. Didn’t even READ the book, like “fvyfvygvvyg”, if you 2. Didn’t get a good grade on a book related quiz, *cough* “izzyyyyyyyyyyyy1” *cough* and 3. If you didn’t UNDERSTAND the book like the cheese-brained “🧀💎🧀🧀💎🧀” you are mentally handicapped. Sorry for the news flash. As a seventh grader reading these, I now understand why literally every one hates our generation, you CAVEMEN have not fallen off the cliff, You have not fallen into the deepest depths of the ocean, you are at the literal CORE OF THE EARTH. Your brains must have grown legs and crawled out of your noggins because even they couldn’t fire a neuron in your body, and now you are just piles of skin and bone, serving no purpose in society. If I could find where one of you lived just so I could talk with one of you and ask you why you’re such a disappointment I would. You TROGLODYTES have such big heads, yet NO BRAINS, that I bet if I could open your heads up and go inside, I could fill them with at least SEVEN rooms, furniture, art, a POOL, and A FREAKING ELEVATOR, because you have at least 10,000 ft.² of just VACANT, EMPTY DOME. Please pay attention in school children. *ACTUAL BOOK REVIEW* It’s pretty good. Thank you for reading, -Howard/@hojojenks

I’ve read a lot of comments on this book that people couldn’t understand it most of those people probably don’t have a very imaginative brain because I read this in 4th grade (2 years ago) I understood every word I love this book and I loved I even used the precious hours of free time I had to read this timeless classic 10/5 I love it!

It made no sense to me. I couldn’t picture anything in my head, and the language and words the author used, most of them I couldn’t understand. But I’m older now, maybe if I read it again I would like it more. I recommend this book for ages 12 through 16
