User reviews about this book
This is not the complete illustrated collection. Yes the sample has all illustrations but the rest of the book - when you purchase it - doesn't have all illustrations. I have the collection PDF it has tons of illustrations but this one is absurd. Just 2 illustrations per story!! This is fake. BE AWARE.
Same issue as above
By Cookie monster;)
I had the same problem:( no case-book just the others. Other than that it was pretty great
Case-book not available...?
So, I purchased this collection because the info about this collection said it had all 8 books plus the Case-book of Sherlock Holmes, but once I purchased it, the Case-book was not even listed in the TOC. Very misleading. Very disappointed.
Great series if books and stories!
Several books in one! Defiantly worth the money!
Comment from the publisher:
We apologize for the inconvenience. The book was corrected on December 22nd, 2010. We have proofread and edited this collection. We also added an index with links to individual stories.
It's elementary. Find another edition to buy.
This compilation is complete, however there are some fatal flaws. The book is poorly edited with numerous missing and misspelled words throughout the book.
There is even a case in The Adventures of the Dancing Men where instead of the image of one of the messages that figures into the story, only the printer's instructions to insert the graphic remain.
Also, the table of contents only lists the individual books contained within the compilation. It would have been much more useful to also list the individual short stories.
This book is a direct copy of the Kindle version and includes the instructions on using it with the Kindle.
My first book on iPad!
The collection seems to be complete. It has clickable table of contents and great deal of illustrations
