A #1 New York Times bestseller!
“A rip-roaring adventure merged with satisfying romance.” —Entertainment Weekly
“[A] swashbuckling launch to the Eldest Curses series.” —Publishers Weekly
From #1 New York Times and USA TODAY bestseller Cassandra Clare and award-winner Wesley Chu comes the first book in a new series full of “swoon-worthy romance [and] abundant action” (Publishers Weekly). The Red Scrolls of Magic is a Shadowhunters novel.
All Magnus Bane wanted was a vacation—a lavish trip across Europe with Alec Lightwood, the Shadowhunter who against all odds is finally his boyfriend. But as soon as the pair settles in Paris, an old friend arrives with news about a demon-worshipping cult called the Crimson Hand that is bent on causing chaos around the world. A cult that was apparently founded by Magnus himself. Years ago. As a joke.
Now Magnus and Alec must race across Europe to track down the Crimson Hand before the cult can cause any more damage. Demons are now dogging their every step, and it is becoming harder to tell friend from foe. As their quest for answers becomes increasingly dire, Magnus and Alec will have to trust each other more than ever—even if it means revealing the secrets they’ve both been keeping.

Omg I loved this so much!! Magnus and Alec are my favorite characters and relatable relationship! I love how Cassandra Claire made these two.I have always loved the books before they became popular and even before the Shadow hunter tv show came out ! Magnus and Alec are the prefect relationship to show the ups and downs of everything.I love the powerful bond they have.I 100% recommend this book to anyone !
C. Clare is amazing
Beautiful story. Two of the best characters in any fictional series. There was so much sexual tension as well. Thank you for giving us more of these two!
Team malec all the way

This was a great read, I’ve been a fan of this world for a while now. I caught up and read the last few Mortal Instruments books as they came out, Alec was my favorite through those and Magnus as well. This book was well written and very interesting. The plot was engaging and there were twists that I did not see coming. Excited to see what this series awaits.
Cassie Clare is a plagiarist and bully
seriously, do not support her work
This book is an incredible window into the relationship of Alec and Magnus. It is heartwarming, truly touching, and a very good read. This is the kind of book that makes you fall in love with love. Would 100% recommend for those Shadowhunter fans out there!
This book has been an amazing read. It’s the first time in my life I’ve been able to read a complete LGBTQ story with an action hero and boundless love. I’m speechless.
I loved the entire book. It was just amazing. It was interesting and the pace didn’t slow down to much. Personally, Malec is my favorite ship so I just loved this book. I read it in 2 days. The plot is amazing and it allowed me to guess what would happen next. The book really shows how Magnus and Alec developed their relationship while also having a great plot and lots of action. This is my new favorite Cassandra Clare book. This book was AMAZING and I definitely recommend this to anyone/everyone. I hope you read this.
