User reviews about this book
One of the better ones
This the first of her books I read and it I like the style. I have not found an author with this style in a LOOOONG time (decades - that’s probably why I stopped reading books. That and most of the books written over the last few decades have been mostly about sex and violence - not my cup ‘o joe). I really like especially how the story begins and the depth of the characters. The only thing I didn’t care for was some of the confusing disconnected or contradictory paragraphs later in the story - towards the end mostly. It got a bit confusing and harder to follow the storyline, almost like the author just wanted to finish writing the book and wanted to rush the ending to get it over with.
Girl In Trouble
This book was fantastic. Definitely kept me on my toes. I plan to read the whole series!
Very captivating. Gave my brother nightmares for a week though...maybe I shouldn’t have been overly scary when telling him. But, you have to understand the importance of your sibling! They are loyal and helpful! Kind and sweet! Always truthful, and always gentle. Also, happy April fools!
Besides one or two editing mistakes I noticed, this book was a great read and kept me interested. It’s a good clean read, suitable for all ages.
I used to be an avid reader but lost interest in recent years. Started reading this book and finished reading it in a matter of 3 nights. Interesting plot twist.
One has to repeatedly suspend logic to get past the gaping plot hole in the “investigation” at the heart of this story. It’s insulting.

From Marjorie Sparks this book is so amazing that I stayed up all night reading until 1 AM as an avid reader of mystery and murder. You can count on me to keep up with your books but you must know that I need my sleep.
This is a great book!

Interesting and well developed characters along with a good story

I thought it was going to be sad and depressing but it was full of excitement and wasn’t scary. The girl who was kidnapped showed amazing insight and bravery.
