The Silver Mask (Magisterium #4) Holly Black & Cassandra Clare Book Review Score: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars
A generation ago, Constantine Madden came close to achieving what no magician had ever achieved: the ability to bring back the dead. He didn't succeed . . . but he did find a way to keep himself alive, inside a young child named Callum Hunt. Now Call is one of the most feared and reviled students in the history of the Magisterium, thought to be responsible for a devastating death and an ever-present threat of war. As a result, Call has been imprisoned and interrogated. Everyone wants to know what Constantine was up to-and how he lives on. But Call has no idea. It is only when he's broken out of prison that the full potential of Constantine's plan is suddenly in his hands . . . and he must decide what to do with his power. In this spellbinding fourth book of Magisterium, bestselling authors Holly Black and Cassandra Clare take us beyond the realm of the living and into the dangers of the dead.

I’ve read the first 4 books of the series in the last 3 days and I cannot stop reading. I haven’t started the last one because it is 3 AM and I need to go to sleep😂. This is definitely one of the best book series I have read. I personally liked this book the best out of the 4 and I highly recommend reading this series. It’s really good.

It could have gone a different way

Aaron didn’t have to die he could have lived but that would make a lot of complications no one wanted Aaron to die but prophecies prescribed it but if Aaron was brought back with Callum’s soul why can’t they’re be a better way to revive him but I’m interested to see if Tamara will fail or if she already has

Seriously another cliffhanger
Fast paced

As with the other books this one also discussed the idea of morals and what is good evil and gray. Call is faced with a huge choice and what he does proves what kind of person he truly is.
The book itself is very fast paced and tends to gloss over a lot of details. It could have expanded the background of some and a lot of questions go unanswered.
Personally I want to know who the pink room belonged to.

By Really? Just, wow
This book was definitely more high stakes and depressing than the others, but that ending though!
Such interesting snippets!

I’ve read some snippets of this book and it seems very interesting. I hope this book is at least eight hours long but it seems like the books are getting shorter and shorter
