User reviews about this book
waste of time and money...
A collection of short stories ... requires serious suspension of disbelief in order to swallow the borderline silly "deductions" and coincidences...
No middle name
Very disappointed with this book. I hope mr child gets over his writers block because this was terrible.
Kept wanting more it never came
Collection of book ideas that didn't make it to print. Waste of money.
Bad Lee Child
I hesitated to read this book because of reviews, but it made the top 10 list for some reason. BIG mistake. Made no sense. Worse Reacher book I've read. Disjointed and scattered little no sense short stories. Don't waste your time.
One of the Best!
I've read all the Reacher books and this is one of my faves. A short story glimpse into different periods of his life always ensure there is action and an intriguing story. Great read!
Lee Child got lazy
I have been a huge fan..I have read some the stories before... Mr. Childs if you are giving up then give Reacher a proper burial and ride off into the sunset... your readers deserve more than this 1 star book

I didn't realize this was a compilation of short stories. The first couple stories were good, but as they went on, they got shorter and shorter, and less interesting; very disappointed reader.
Perfect travel book
By Dancing Queen 2000
Lee Child is always excellent, and I read this book on a recent trip. Short stories are not usually my thing, but these were so interesting and perfect for the short bursts of reading time that I had.
Worth Every Penny
I thought I had read all his short stories. I hadn't. No one writes like this, and I read his stuff way too fast.
