Don't fall in love in high school.
Don't fall in love with your best friend.
Don't fall in love. At all.

When Claudia Lake's sister Wendy moves back home, everything changes. The boy next door wants to be more than just friends. Her best friend nurses a broken heart with revenge. When it comes to love, Claudia has learned that it's better to be safe than sorry... or has she?

Those Were the Days is a prequel to Jenny Bravo's debut novel, These Are the Moments, that explores what it means to be in love in high school, the excitement and fear of a first love, and how to survive broken hearts.

  • What I think

    By From: Bella
I think u should write more books like this because it inspires young readers to write their own story. This book is the best book I have ever read I love how Claudia and Casey end up together and how Wendy get over her ex and starts painting again but even though u broke up with someone that should never hold u back from the things u love to do or anything really. I just want to say to the author that what a book u make and keep up the amazing work.

this book can be considered like every other romance book where the two best friends end up dating and it's all cute and heartwarming, but it has its own way of being cute. the sense of humour in it makes it about 5 times better too and i genuinely love it. i just wished it could be longer but that's okay.

It’s great but was a little short I wish it talked more about Claudia and Casey.

Don’t get me wrong, I liked the book. But when I’m looking for a nice book to read I expect it to be a little longer than 58 pages. But in the end, I think with the type of genre and book combination it was, I think it was reasonably long. This was why I rated this book a 4 out of 5. Thanks for reading this review, bye!
