Nicknames are horrible
By Pop crime
Ok, this sounds dumb but the nicknames in this series are horrible. My husband and I have pet names but the author over does it and the names are horrible to even understand how they came to play.
The sex is all the same. The man gets off ten times in a row, little far fetched and so that was hard to really feel like a story.
The idea behind the books was good. I love books where friend all get together in the end. I also liked that a poor normal person was included. A nice touch on reality.
I cannot believe this woman
Is she 12 yrs old? I’m not finished the first book but how many times can see see her bf with his cousin or have him not answer his phone and she runs away AGAIN? And says can’t do drama. It’s the most ridiculous story I have read in a long time. Hopefully the second book is better bc I can’t take another story of her running bc she’s a quote scared mouse bc she saw her new bf on the beach with his cousin. It’s too painful and she can’t see how nobody agrees? Get a grio
Summer lake series
Such a wonderful story. Beautifully written. I felt like I grew to know these characters personally. Can’t wait to read more!
Summer lake romance
By tina sibert
These books are incredible!!!! I freaking love them!! They’re extremely well written, and will keep you interested! I’ve never written a review for anything before, but I had to for this series!!!!!
I’d definitely recommend them
Just enough seriousness, love, laughter, joy, friendship and steaminess to make you sit back with a sigh and say - that was a good read! I’ve only read the first three, but you can bet I’ll read the rest!
Summer Lake Romance Boxed Set ( Books 1-3)
Great stories, great writer. Enjoyed them.
So many errors.

There are so many formatting errors in the second book. Entire pages seem to be missing in this edition. There definitely needs to be an update.
Summer Lake review from Smurfette
By Wanda K McD
I've just finished the 3rd book about Summer Lake, and I've enjoyed every single page! You've made me want to travel until I find Summer Lake and move there myself...too old to think about wanting to live in a place like that for romance, but the friendships these people have are what truly makes life fun and interesting and bring so much more love and laughter into people's lives. As a disabled 60 year old, having had to move back where I was born (for financial reasons) I've had to leave all my adult friends...and the childhood ones have not made a place for me in their lives. So yes, I'm in fantasy land with every turn of a page. Can't wait to be able to afford the rest of them!
The writing in the first book was horrendous. The details to make the scene were good, but that was it. Plot was typical for a romance. Who doesn't like a happily ever after?
The dialogue between characters was subpar. It felt as if I was reading an info-commercial. "Wow. Wow. Wow. Do you like? I like. Character said happily. Repeat. Gee wilickers. Purty lady. Character said disappointedly. Repeat." The Spanish that the author attempted to put into the second book was just as bad.
If you want to read a book to help you on a sleepless night, this would be a great set to keep on hand.
I wonder if all these high reviews were done by adults or teens? This book appears to be written by a pre-teen that thinks they are writing for an adult audience. I only made it through the first story before deciding to delete the book. It reminds me of when I was in middle school, thinking about how relationships work. The maturity level of the characters was that of pubescent children. From their actions to their words, I cringed. But I guess when you chose a free book, a lot of the time you get what you pay for.
