Big Rock Lauren Blakely Book Review Score: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars
Dive into the friends-to-lovers, fake fiancé romance that launched the #1 NYT Bestselling series!
It's not just the motion of the ocean, ladies. It's definitely the SIZE of the boat too.
And I've got both firing on all cylinders. In fact, I have ALL the right assets. I'm hot as sin, rich as heaven, smart as hell and hung like a horse.
Fine, I might be a playboy, but I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind.
The only trouble is, my dad needs to close a deal and to do so, I need to look the part of the committed guy. So I ask my best friend and business partner to be my fiancée for the next week. Charlotte has her reasons for saying yes. But pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom, because she just can’t fake the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets.
Trouble is, I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her.
What the hell have I gotten myself into with this…big rock?

Sexy and Funny
I loved the humor! All of the quick-witted comments and jokes were a great compliment to the characters and the story.

What a wonderful story. I enjoyed it from the very first word. I laughed hard and oh those sexy parts were positively delicious. All of the characters added something to the story which is not always the case with some authors so thank you Lauren. I have read other books by Lauren so I’m familiar with her work. I must say that Big Rock is my favorite book by Lauren. Until next time y’all happy reading.
Loved the story and characters!!! An absolute fun read! Great ending!
Love the story! Read this!
I couldn’t put it down. I like that the story is told from Spencer’s POV. The main characters are adorable and funny. There wasn’t much conflict but it works in this case. This one’s a feel good romcom. I recommend, put in your to-read-summer-list.
When this book started out I didn’t think I was going to like it. It turned out to be a funny and romantic story of two best friends who had blinders on. Great read!

Starts out he is always in his head second guessing himself drives me crazy then the story picks up and becomes a very adorable story!
I love this book it’s one of my favorite by Lauren Blakely. It’s a great mix of sexy and funny. Both Spencer and Charlotte are great characters. Have re-read this one several times along with all the other books in this series.
RAW, ADDICTIVE, and highly EROTIC
Admittedly, as a “hopeless romanic” male, I’ve struggled to find an author capable of composing a raw steamy romance without holding punches on all the dirty little details. That was, until I stumbled upon the work of Lauren Blakely. Unlike most popular cheesy-romance authors who seem be afraid to touch their character’s sex lives with a ten-inch pole, Blakely tackles it head-on, leaving you squirming in your seat, with no room left for your imagination. She provides a raw unfiltered view of love in it’s entirety, with a story so intoxicatingly addictive, you’ll never be able to put it down. You’ll fall in love with her charming characters faster than they can even fall in love with each other. And the best part is that you won’t even have to dreadfully wonder what happens to the characters when it’s over because the next book follows the story of Spencer’s friend Nick, set during the following fall, and they’re plenty of refreshing cameos from Big Rock. I’m highly enjoying this series, and whoever’s even reading this review, I hope you will too.
