15th Affair James Patterson & Maxine Paetro Book Review Score: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars
When an alluring blonde with ties to the CIA disappears from a murder scene, Detective Lindsay Boxer turns to the Women's Murder Club to help her track down an elusive suspect: her husband.
As she settles into motherhood and a happy marriage, Lindsay Boxer thinks she has found domestic bliss. But when a beautiful, alluring blonde woman with links to the CIA disappears from the scene of a brutal murder at a downtown luxury hotel, Lindsay's life begins to unravel. Before she can track down the woman for questioning, a plane crash plunges San Francisco into chaos and Lindsay's husband Joe vanishes.
The deeper she digs, the more Lindsay suspects that Joe shares a secret past with the mystery blonde. Thrown into a tailspin and questioning everything she thought she knew, Lindsay turns to the Women's Murder Club for help as she tries to uncover the truth.
Filled with the pulse-pounding intrigue that has made James Patterson the world's #1 bestselling writer, 15th Affair proves that all is fair in love, war, and espionage.

User reviews about this book
Not one of his better books. Don't think he had much input. Have someone tell you about it and save yourself the misery.
Great book like usual. His books always end in a twist if you read his books, to make you buy the next book. Which is fine by me. Love reading his books by all means.
They all take off great right from the start to keep you involved in the book and keep you reading. Never a boring book.

Full of mystery and intrigue...
So cliche. Does a female have any input?
If you've read one Patterson you've pretty much read them all, the characters just have different names. But I enjoy the quick pace of his books & the Women's Murder Club, Cross & Bennett books I read. This one does have a rather unusual ending that I really hadn't been expecting but am sure will be resolved in #16 or 17 or 22.....
I was extremely disappointed with the story line of Lindsey's distrust and disbelief of Joe resulting in her not wanting him in her life. It is totally out of character and not logical given their loving relationship and her intimate knowledge of his job. The authors took a very wrong turn with this turn of events!
This book was fantastic. A great story and new twists. With the exception of the end. As the other reviewer noted, also too short. But the others are quick reads as well. I love this series but am moved enough to send my disappointment on how it ended. I don't want to ruin anything for those yet to read but I hope the next book gets Lindsay back on track. This was a shocker and a let down of surprising proportions to me. I hope the 16th book brings things back together so to speak.

Well written with interesting characters. But rather short for $15. I expected more.
Too much stuff not related to the book.
