Love it, Love it!!!!
Ms. Blakely has reallllly done it!!
I love the male prespective. I love the characters, I really love Clay. Strong, sexy. The female lead was okay, she was a bit annoying, but she pulled it off. This is the first erotic novel that I’ve read of Ms. Blakely and I love it!!!!
Give me more, you got it good.
Save your money
Lead character is annoying to the point that I gave up trying to like her. Didn't get very far in this book, about 1/3 way through before I considered it a total loss.
Lots of steam and a story!
I do get tired of the series publications. One book is never the end have buy 4 more in this case. However the story is good and there is a lot of steam. Am moving on to the next.
Not my favorite series by Lauren. I prefer The Thrill of It Series.
There's too much over explaining of the characters actions.
Too much talking through the process. Instead of trying to use a bunch of flattering words I think the action of sex should speak for itself. It's a bit redundant when the author has to fluff up the scenes with comforting words.
Really an entire conversation about how wet she is? The stockings were sexy but then you ruined it with all that talk about being wet. All that talk of her being wet and yet he still expects her to go out in public with no panties. She's going to soil her skirt with her wetness.
I'm not falling for the dialogue. It feels forced. Sure they want to bang when they see each other and the anticipation makes it fun but trying to fit in the conversation on top of that does not flow. I'd understand if they knew each other and were hiding their affair and trying to maintain some form of connection between the long distance but they are doing this from the one encounter-ship and it does not have the chemistry vibe for me.
These two characters are not relatable to me. I have nothing in common with them and quite frankly I find them uninteresting. Their bedroom conversation is meaningless ramble.
It's ironic that Clay does not like when people lie because that is exactly what she is doing.
The story has too much sex and the scenes that are not sex related are work related and are just as boring. Not digging the third person point of view. It reads more as an explanation of events and emotions. It causes me to feel unattached to the characters. I feel like an observer instead of a part of the story.
I think Lauren could have wrapped up this story in two installments if she had reduced the sex scenes and focused on the scenes with Charlie.
This is an ok book that kind of drags on a bit. It is not a stand alone book. No ending - you must read the next 2 books.

A fabulous read. Great characters.
This book wasn't bad but there wasn't anything special about it. Sometimes it just got really boring and slow even though the author was trying to rush through scenes. Worth getting and reading because it is free but I won't be buying the rest of the series.
Another fantastic book by Lauren
Once again Lauren does it. I'm never left disappointed.
Holy moly!! This book is fantastic! Clay and Julia are on fire and their passion for each other burns strong! Must go get next book now!
