The Stolen Dog.

This was a excellent story. I could feel her anguish and fear. Her ups and downs. So happy that she got Briggs back and that he has a brother Blue. My parents had Boston Terriers and they are really cute. Made me feel there is hope for the human race still.

I don’t know what time I started reading this book, about 12 hours ago is my guess, but it is now 3:20 a.m. and I am long past due going to bed. Needless to say, I couldn’t put it down. Great author, great book. Please write more non-fiction because that is all I read and this was one of the best.
I love this story. I read the whole thing in one sitting. I couldn't put it down until I found out what happened.
As a mom to two dogs who once went missing for four of the worst and longest days of my life, I know the helplessness, the fear, the panic, the utter devastation. My dogs were out in freezing rain, I drove for hours, did flyers, had half the county looking for them. I cried so much I couldn't see, my eyes were so swelled up. You see, I can't have children, and these dogs are my everything.
Thank God they returned early, at 4:30 am on the fifth day, smelling of cedar wood and clean. I'm fairly certain someone kept them during the storm, and I'm grateful for that. They were exhausted but happy to see us. There aren't words to describe how I felt. It's just impossible to explain. I can't imagine how I'd survive as long as Briggs was missing. But like Briggs' mommy, I'd never give up either.
