"I adore Kristen Ashley's books!"---Maya Banks, New York Times bestselling author

She's ready for the ride of her life . . .

Lauren Grahame is looking to reinvent herself. After leaving her cheating husband, Lauren moves to Carnal, Colorado, and gets a job as a waitress in a biker bar called Bubba's. It's a nothing job in a nowhere joint . . . until Tatum Jackson walks in. Lauren has never seen a man with such good looks, muscles, and attitude. But when he insults her, Lauren doesn't want anything to do with him. Too bad for Lauren he's also the bar's part owner and bartender.

When the rough-around-the-edges Tate meets the high-class Lauren, he thinks she won't fit in at Bubba's. Yet there's more to Lauren than meets the eye, and Tate soon sets his mind on claiming her as his own. Before long, the desire burning between them is heating up the cold mountain air. But when violence strikes the town, Tate must reveal a dark secret to Lauren-one that may put an end to their sweet dreams.

I did not see that coming. I thought it would be Bubba, with all his fishing trips. I was surprised at who it was and pleased it wasn't Bubba. Beautiful story. Now on to Lady Luck.

I love Kristen Ashley and have read almost every book she has! This was my least favorite, while I loved the suspense and mystery, I just couldn't connect with the alpha male Tate. Still a very good read.

I've read this book a few times haha. I love the characters and the town. The mystery in the story is both intriguing and exciting. Very much so. Edge of your seat, can't put it down, have to know how it ends exciting. I seriously adore this book. Kristen Ashley did a phenomenal job with this story. Kudos to her imagination. All the characters are interesting. This is a story you can read over and over.
  • OMG!!!!!

Loved this book!!! Love all of Kristen Ashley's books. But, this one is in the top three. Motorcycle Man is #1 Knight is # 2. Nobody and I mean nobody writes a sexy, hot, dominating alpha male like she does! Loved Tate and Laurie sooooo much!
  • Not excellent

I don't know what the author's fascination is with dialoque that interrupts between the characters. I mean every single time someone speaks, it's like, "Tate-" "But-" "You-"... It's annoying. The book is just okay.
