I enjoyed the animals, especially, Boxer the horse, and Moses the Raven. This book details the dangers of Communism, and how absolute power corrupts absolutely.
  • Absolute Classic. Excellent read.

Animal farm is a revealing tale with excellent descriptions that promotes a strong sense of restraint and great sympathy for the animals. However, this novel would not be as great without knowledge of the setting in which it occurred, for the association with the history of the USSR puts the novel in perspective.
