  • A Wonderful Overview

As an outline of the problems of capitalism and the bourgeoisie state, this holy manuscript is unmatched. As an outline of actual political philosophy, it falls short. The shortcomings and problems of Marxism could fill another manifesto. If I could, I would give this 4.5 stars.
  • Marx is idiotic

He looks at things in the STUPIDEST ways possible!!! He considers only the simplest factors and never considers anything other than what he thinks about something. I thought this was a satire because of how ridiculous this is.
  • Great in theory, Horrible in practice.

Absolutely awful, every ideal in this book eventually leads to a dictatorship or a totalitarian regime.
  • Why this book should never be banned

while I do not think Marx was right i do believe he did have the best intentions when he wrote this many people confuse Marxism and communism with Marxist-Leninism which is totalitarian and utterly horrible but true communism calls for an equal society where all are treated the same regardless of race, class, job, or religion (I know religion and communism don’t work) but he didn’t think about how to get there without killing and death and war and famine so I would take Marxism as more of a personal philosophy rather than a political ideology. The other thing is that if you ban this then what’s to stop you from banning the Quran or the Torah or even the Bible people have killed each other off of those morals too so why not? Well they aren’t meant to be taken as ideology they are morality that’s what I think the communist manifesto is, morality help the workers treat all equally try and prevent an oligarchy
  • Communism In its purest form

The book is an interesting read but the predictions drawn in it are absurd and completely misguided. I was recommended it by a friend who wanted to explain why socialism is the future. I still don’t and this book changed nothing about how I view the world. Since it is a free read I don’t give it one star, but if it had cost me more that 10¢ I would give it one star and say you got what to paid for. It was a good 15 minutes of nonsense and boring analogies so if that’s all you want, then this is the book for you. If you want a decent economic system, read Adam Smith’s An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations. It is a much better read, coming in at around 2000 pages and the conclusions he comes to are more logical and realistic. Did I also mention it is free?

This is an amazing and powerful book that shows how the world should be under a single communist regime. Just imagine a world where there are no gaps between the rich and the poor, where individuals voices can be heard, and everyone has enough money to fulfill their dreams. Sadly a world such as this is almost impossible. We have to fight back against the Bourgeoisie over the middle and working class, JOIN THE REVOLUTION COMRADES!
  • Classic masterpiece even though you don’t agree with its content.

I couldn’t disagree more with almost everything Marx put in this Manifiesto. That being said, I cannot deny his cleverness when putting into words the sentiment and feelings of a great portion of world’s population. I guess he was truly committed to his believes and to the idea of a society where individuals wouldn’t have the possession o any asset that would be necessary for its fellow citizens.
