Freedom Ain't Free Jay Mcfarland Book Review Score: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars
Freedom Ain’t Free goes beyond the partisan rhetoric of the day to explain how our current government is removing rights in the name of protecting them. Jay Mcfarland cuts through today's emotional arguments and clearly defines how a free society is supposed to function, and what price we each must pay in order to maintain our freedoms.

Sure the title may say " Freedom isn't Free". Well neither is the price. Why does most of these books have to have a price tag
This is an interesting book, but the author loses major points for chiding the Democratic Party far, far more often than the Republican Party. He does take Republicans to task for a few things, but I feel he misrepresents his view when he claims the book is not partisan or ideological. Both parties have plenty to answer for, but this author gives one side a pass on most of his topics. I can't recommend it to anyone but Tea Party members.
The author has very good points about our laws, government, rights, and the behavior of people. However, I feel he needs hard evidence to warrant his points. His ideas are only ideas without sources or events. Maybe if he incorporated past historic events then his suggestions would be believable than depending on the authors word/faith.

I must admit, when I first downloaded this book, I thought it was going to be another book, where I read a few pages and get bored. I was totally wrong, I couldn't put it down. Looking forward to reading another book by Jay. Keep up the good work.
I love it:
It gave me a view of real politics. Now I will never look at politics the same way I did before again.:D
Every citizen should read this book.
Truly an eye opening look into what government really is.
