I really loved this series. These two characters just warmed my heart and made me feel like I personally knew them. Had a few surprises here and there and always left me wanting more.

Only good thing about the book is the cover model. The book was a snooze fest.

Rush and Gia’s story concludes in this second part of their duet. This book is just as terrific and the first, without the heart-stopping cliffhanger thank goodness! Just as hot, intense, and heart-grabbing as the first, you will love every word and minute of it!
  • Fortunately or Unfortunately 😂

*this review contains a few spoilers, do not read if you don’t like spoilers * Fortunately Rush and Gia stayed together through all the drama. Unfortunately, I still feel really said about some of the circumstances. I loved that no matter the circumstances their love for each other was never a question. Gia one night stand had serious consequences, and sadly landed her pregnant with a man baby the didn’t fell she was even important enough to give her his real name. Unfortunately it turned out to be Rush’s stupid brother. Rush only wanted his fathers love but he never got it, at least not when he really needed it. But fortunately in the end Rush and Gia could not be happier. I loved this book series and I’m going to miss them.
  • Where can I find a Rush?

So.... Rush. Let's just talk about what an amazing character he is. He is flawed, he admits it and tries to be better. He's been handed an interesting deal in life but doesn't let that hold him back. I am going to keep this review short and sweet because I don't want to give anything away. I can honestly say that this book was not what I was expecting. I mean, we know where the cliffy ends up.... but I loved really reading and focusing on the relationship between Gia and Rush. I was completely happy with how this whole story wrapped up!

I typically love this duo I think I own every book they have written. Normally I finish feeling happy and ready for the next one. I’m sad to say this duet was the opposite. I had to finish it but I wasn’t feeling happy (or horny) when it was over. Big let down.
  • That ending! Swoon!

Since the crazy cliffy ending of Rebel Heir, I’ve been dying to get my hands on Rebel Heart to see where Gia and Rush’s story would end. Gia and Rush and their romance worried me a bit as they fought to find their way in Rebel Heir. They had so many obstacles in their way and I didn’t really know how they’d work things out. In Rebel Heart, we got a much deeper look inside Rush’s head and heart. Really got to know him and his fears. And I just fell more in love with him. And Gia too. I really wanted them to figure things out. Work out the disconnect between their brains and their hearts. Figure out how to be together. Figure out how to let love win. And they did. The ending of Rebel Heart was amazing. Totally swoon worthy. And absolutely perfect.
  • On the fence, again.

I'm starting off with I'm not 100% convinced this is a 4 Star read But I'm keeping it as is. I wasn't a huge fan of all the drama. I was not convinced it was needed. I thought Rush was a coward and Gia was a bit naive. I don't know why Gia was so determined to stay with Rush if he was going through the notion of not being a father. This book made me really frustrated. All the back and forth. It was a bit much. I'm not saying I didn't like the book, I'm saying I didn't love it. It was a decent read. I'm just having a hard time with Rush and his cowardly ways.
