Boss Games Victoria Quinn Book Review Score: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars

"Tatum Titan has been gunned down."

I heard the words but couldn't process them.

My woman. My world. My everything.

Terror grips my heart. I stop breathing. Everything stops.

It's the first time I've ever felt powerless. There's nothing I can do, so I don't know what to do.

I never should have left her. I should have been there.

I should have taken that bullet for her.

While I’m moderately enjoying this series, I do question when Diesel and Vincent’s last name changed to Ammo? All through the book.....come on people. This day and age? I’m also feeling this series is dragging slowly not really getting a good read on any one characters’ true feelings. Yes, I’m told what they’re feeling but I don’t pick up on it at all. I do generally love Victoria’s books but while this series had a strong opener, it has lost focus and I feel like I’m paying a lot of money for mediocrity.
  • Names.

This book would be great if the names would all match up. Diesel & his family went from “Hunt” to “Ammo”. Very confusing there when all of sudden it’s a name change and you are only using last name in the conversations in parts of the book. There are other mistakes as well in the book. If I am paying 6.99$ for a book that isn’t really long to begin with. It should be prefect in all other aspects such as names being correct. Whoever was supposed to check before the book was released did not do their job. Disappointing, don’t know if I will continue the series after this big screwup because who knows what else they might have messed up on. Proof-read!
