He's not perfect, but he's all I want...

I’m your average girl at your average high school, trying to figure out my place in life. After catching my now ex-boyfriend messing around with my now ex-best friend, I’ve made some big changes. No more band, no more backstabbing friends and no more boring old life. Now I have new friends, a new job and new interests.

But there’s a certain someone who’s interested in me, and I don’t get it. Jordan Tuttle could have anyone he wants. He’s the most popular boy in school. Rich, gorgeous, smart and the star quarterback, he’s perfect. Yet he acts like he wants no one else but…me.

So despite my fears and doubt, I let him get close. Probably too close. I discover that he’s not so perfect after all, but it doesn’t matter. I’m falling for him, even though he runs so hot and cold. I know someday he’s going to break my heart.

And I’m going to let him.

Don't bother reading cause the author decided she needs another 300+ pages to finally finish. Just wait for the second book if you are even remotely interested in the storyline.

This is such a great book. I love it so much. I had this book for one day and I already finished it. It's so interesting. I hate that it ended in a cliffhanger. Now I have to wait for the next book to come out. I can't wait.

“More Than Friends” is author Monica Murphy’s newest young adult book, and the second in her “Friends” series. Again, I am left torn after completing this book (Monica, why do you keep doing this to me?). I really enjoyed “Just Friends,” the first book in the series, and I could not wait for this book to come out because I had hoped it would begin where the last book ended and answer all the lingering questions left from the cliffhanger ending. Do Ryan and Livvy stay together, can she and Em repair their friendship, where does her relationship with Dustin go? But, I should have known that Monica would not simply end the story. Instead, Monica leaves the ready in suspense regarding those characters’ lives and relationship and then re-introduces the reader to Amanda and Tuttle. Oh my…Amanda and Tuttle. I love them. I love their relationship, the complexity, the character development. It feels like high school all over again. And, just when I think we are getting somewhere, when I am completely and utterly hooked in the storyline….it ends. Boom, another cliffhanger. Luckily, I know another story is coming. *I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this story and am posting an honest review.

I love this story. I read Just Friends first and loved every second of it. It was full of angst and drama. I loved reading about all the teenagers and the craziness that was going on in their lives. When it came to an end I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next installment. While waiting for More than Friends to come out I went and read One Night on Wattpad. Reading it gave me a better feel for all of the other characters. Where I had been invested in Emily, Dustin, Olivia and Ryan in book one, I was now wanting to know what was going to happen with 4-5 more characters. In More than Friends we get Jordan and Amanda's story. Not their whole story, but we see who they really are and how they feel about one another. I devoured this book as quickly as the first one. I loved Jordan, right now he said the only one of the boys I can honestly say that about. I think I like Dustin and I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up hating Ryan. This series is one of those that read like a television series. I feel like Monica Murphy could write 5-6 more books in the series for us to get the full story on all of the characters. I'm really enjoying it and can't wait for the next one. There's still so much to figure out.
  • Fantastic Teenage Romance!

Wow! Loved this Angsty, Hot and sweet young adult romance. Well written with great character development. Written in dual points of view, giving us more insight into what makes these two tick. Loved their chemistry and the challenges of their young love. This will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen next. #Cuddle with Tuttle is Fantastic. Loved Jordan Tuttle the rich, hot, jock heart throb of high school who has a love them and leave them reputation, but who seems to only have eyes for the ex-band geek Amanda. But can this romance and feelings that he has for Amanda become the real thing. It scares him to think about how she challenges him like no other has ever done before her. Will this smart, confident, funny young girl, be able to keep the boy of her dreams? Will she even want to? You will want to read this intense teen drama to find out. Be warned danger ahead in the form of a cliffhanger. I need more now and so will you! I voluntarily read and reviewed this advance review copy.

I have officially fallen in love with this series. I was so honored to be able to voluntarily read an arc of this book. I really enjoyed the first two books and this one was fantastic. This brings you the story of Amanda and Jordan (Tuttle). This couple is about as honest and innocently sexy as you can find. I could almost "feel" the attraction between the two of them. Amanda might just be one of my very favorite heroines. She is strong and doesn't seem to succumb to peer pressure as much as Livvy and Em do. Tuttle is the same. He doesn't really care what anyone thinks of him.... even when they can't understand why the school's quarterback and most popular guy is chasing after Amanda. The one thing that bothered me was that despite how strong Amanda is, that she doubts herself through most of the book and that gets exhausting sometimes. I just want to grab her by the shoulders and shake some sense into her. I honestly can not get enough of this group of kids and I am hoping there are many more books to come in this series.
