Starting last year I stumbled on to the Phoenix series out of longing for some good S.F. I haven't been disappointed and I look forward to the conclusion reluctantly because I don't want it to end. It's been a fun read, good characters, and a great story. Even the audio versions have held my interest as well as with my wife who never reads S.F. Bravo. The best for my tastes since the Rama Series.
  • Fast paced as the first!

If you follow the author on Facebook you can get the particulars of the grammar issues. They are being fixed. You can also read the particulars for why the book is split in two. I'd much rather a better story than something pieced together to appease the ebook masters and their arbitrary deadlines. Anyway, a really fast paced and fun read! Much better than some of the sequels as far as pacing is concerned. Truly enjoyable. I'll be sad when the last installment is produced!

Brilliant... Absolutely brilliant!! Can't wait for the final chapter, but hate to see it end. What a great ride!!

Fun read. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Can not wait for the conclusion.

I really expected better... It was bad enough that the author split the "final" book into two, thereby doubling his profit but I've seen better grammar and proofreading by children. The number of times I had to judge what was being said by context was appalling. Did they proofread at all? Maybe you should hire me to proofread the second part? But then again I'm reconsidering the final purchase. If no better it's not worth eight bucks!!
